An invitation to experience Prestfelde

Founded in 1929, we are an independent preparatory school for boys and girls aged from 3 to 13. 2019 is our 90th anniversary year.

Based in thirty acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of Shrewsbury we are mainly a day school with the option of flexible boarding. There are approximately 320 children at the school with class sizes of no more than 20. The school was assessed as ‘outstanding’ in all key areas in its last inspection.

Our Open Mornings are a chance to experience life at Prestfelde – you’ll be given a guided tour of the school by our pupils, have the opportunity to ask our Head, Mrs Fiona Orchard, pupils and teaching staff questions, as well as viewing our amazing grounds and facilities.

Open Mornings take place on a Friday during the school week which allow you to see us in action on a ‘real’ school day. Everyone is welcome to attend our next Open Morning taking place on Friday 17th May 2019 between 10.30am and 12.30pm. To register please email: admissions@prestfelde.co.uk

However, there is no need to wait until an Open Morning before visiting us, you are most welcome for a personal visit at any time. Come and learn about Prestfelde in more detail and meet with our Head individually. If you would like to arrange a personal visit please email: admissions@prestfelde.co.uk
