Prestfelde School has launched a new creativity-focused training programme led by Head of Drama Liberty Griffin, welcoming staff from both Prestfelde and local primary schools.

The year long initiative is part of the national Rethinking Curriculum project, funded by the Helen Hamlyn Trust and delivered by the Chartered College of Teaching.

This week’s session, Fostering Creativity (an OECD-designed programme) explored how schools can strengthen creative thinking across the English curriculum. Participants looked at recognising creativity in the classroom and embedding it into planning, assessment and leadership.

The event brought together educators committed to enriching curriculum design and ensuring pupils benefit from a more inspiring, creative learning experience.
