Chapel

As a Woodard School, Prestfelde’s excellent education takes place within an actively Christian environment.  We welcome children of all faiths to the school and our ethos is underpinned by its values which are explored through teaching, pastoral care, games and Chapel services.  At the heart of the Prestfelde philosophy is a belief that each child is unique, created and loved by God, and as such we have a desire to see every boy or girl who attends Prestfelde flourish as an individual and understand what it means to live life in all its fullness.

Celebrating each other

Chapel services are at the heart of life at Prestfelde, bringing staff and pupils together for worship and celebration.  All children, from Little P upwards, are involved in Chapel services that are pitched at a level that is appropriate.  Children are actively involved in planning and participating in our worship times and are always ready to join in with impromptu dramas that allow them to ‘step into’ the Bible stories.

Thought for the week

Reverend Alex Aldous

A treasured part of the Prestfelde community, Reverend Alex is a well-known face about school. Leading Chapel services at Prestfelde, Revered Alex is always ready to talk with and offer support any member of the school community.

Bringing the school together

Prestfelde's strength is in its strong community. Our pupils grow, knowing that they always have the support of each other. Bringing everyone together to celebrate and mark historical and memorable occasions is something that we like to do, to create new and lasting memories.
