2029 Centenary Fundraising Campaign

2029 will be a special year for us, as it will be100 years since Prestfelde opened its doors as an independent school. We already have a range of celebratory events planned to mark the occasion, but what we would really like to do to commemorate this milestone, is to raise a Centenary-worthy pot of money to help us achieve the ambitious strategic aims that we set out in our 2029 Centenary Vision and Strategy Plan.

As a school, we do all that we can to make the money that we receive in fees go as far as possible. Every year, through prudent management, we try to add to our reserves so that we can make ongoing improvements to the site and its facilities.

This approach has stood us in good stead over the last decade and means that we have been able to self-fund the refurbishment of Highfields House and the installation of the new artificial pitch.

However, to enable us to:

• Deliver the significant capital projects required to ensure that we remain one of the UK’s leading prep schools;
• Establish the transformational bursary scheme, so that access to a Prestfelde education can be widened in our community; and
• Ensure that your children and those set to join us in future years can continue to enjoy the broadest and most enriched educational experience possible,  we all need to come together as a community to raise additional funds.

This may sound like a daunting prospect, but through the philanthropy of previous parents we were able to fund the building of our much-used swimming pool in 1971 and the wonderful Blackburn Theatre in 2014. With your support and generosity, we therefore have no doubt that we can do it again and create a legacy for the future that we can all be proud of!

All donations, no matter the size or form in which they come, will be greatly received and will bring us one step closer to achieving our goal, which is to ensure that Prestfelde continues to offer children who come here an excellent all-round education and the most inspiring and inclusive extra-curricular experience possible.
